How your customers get sorted
Drop in your QuickBooks report and each customer lands in a group: who to keep close, who to call, who to let rest. It looks at when they last ordered, how often, and how much they spend, and scores each one against your other customers. The dots below are made up. Your customer data is never shared. It stays in your browser. Each customer lands in a group: who to keep close, who to call, who to let rest. The dots below are made up. Your customer data is never shared. It stays in your browser.

How the sorting works
- Three questions about every customer. When did they last order? How many times have they ordered? How much have they spent?
- Each answer gets a score from 1 to 5, compared only with your other customers. A 5 means the top fifth of your own list. Nothing is measured against an outside average.
- The scores place the dot. Left to right is how recently they ordered. Bottom to top is the average of their orders and spend scores. Each box is a group, with a plain next step for it.
Two rules on top, and more groups
Anyone who ordered in the last 45 days is never filed as quiet. Anyone with no order in 180 days or more is never filed as doing well. Both numbers are defaults.
Longer lists can also separate Old Friends, Fading and Worth Tending.
The dots here are made up. Yours come from your own report. Treat the groups as signals to look into, not proof. Short lists make them rougher.
